Single storey

Australia’s most popular house design is single story, and Vicarc Homes can build yours from your plans, or design a home for you. We can talk also advise you about whether a single- or double-story home is a better fit for you, your lifestyle, your family’s needs and your budget.

Single story homes work well on larger blocks: you can spread across the block, making the most of the available space. Many people also prefer to have everything on one level, with no stairs.

Double storey

Double-storey homes are ideal for families who want multiple, versatile living spaces. They also provide some welcome separation for family members: for example, you can have separate living and sleeping areas, or a parents areas downstairs and children’s and guest’s bedrooms upstairs.

While it costs more to build a double-story than a single-story home, that means you can buy a smaller, less expensive block. And you can maximise the available space for a yard or pool. As well, building up rather than out is a great way to make the most of the view.

Multi-dwelling developments

Vicarc Homes has the skills and experience to build your townhouse, villa unit or dual occupancy home project. We bring to your project architects and town planners who specialise in planning legislation and policy, and in local council approval procedures. We help you avoid mistakes in approval processes that waste time and money, so your multi-development dwelling project goes smoothly from start to finish.

Demolition

Renovate or knock down and rebuild? If you love your area and want to avoid the expense of relocating or the disruption of renovating, we can handle demolition of your existing buildings before we start the build. Demolishing and rebuilding makes good sense: it can increase the value of your property, and give you the pleasure enjoy of living in a brand-new home.

Vicarc Homes uses licensed demolishers of low-rise buildings. We handle all aspects of the demolition including getting the necessary permits, disconnecting all services, keeping the area safe for others, arranging for salvage, demolishing the house and removing all the debris.
